2. What personal data will be processed and why?

RESMAN collects and processes personal data that you submit to us via our website www.resman.no. This personal data includes name, title, the company your work for, address, telephone number, or e-mail address when you subscribe to the newsletter, send us a request for information, or provide us feedback. You are of course free to explore our website without providing any personal data about yourself.

We may also retrieve your personal data when you or your employer contacts an RESMAN employees via email either under or to initiate a contractual relationship.

Your personal data is processed in order for us to respond to your request for information or the feedback you submitted, and to perform the subscription of the newsletter.

The personal data we retrieve from your employer is processed for the administration and performance of an agreement, for actions taken before the agreement is accepted, and to communicate with you or your employer. RESMAN may also supplement personal data by obtaining information from private or public registers.

Your personal data will also be stored in RESMAN’s CRM-system as a reference for future business contacts between you and RESMAN.

In addition to the above, we also collect your IP address when you visit our website in order to administrate and improve the website, for statistical analysis, etc.

 

3. What is the legal basis for processing of your personal data?

When responding to your request for information or feedback submitted or sending you the newsletter we process your personal data on the basis of your consent.

The processing of your personal data under an agreement that you or your employer has or is initiating with RESMAN is necessary for the performance of contract or in order to take steps at the request of you or your employer prior to entering into a contract.

The processing of your personal data for the purpose of having a reference for future business contacts is based on the legitimate interest of RESMAN to keep an internal record of business contacts.

The processing of your IP address is based on the legitimate interest of RESMAN to administrate, develop, and improve the website. It is our assessment that our legitimate interests to do so outweigh your privacy interests.

 

4. Who has access to your personal data?

We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful access. The number of persons with access to your personal data is limited. Only individuals that need to process your personal data in accordance with the purposes above will have access.

Your personal data may be shared with companies within the RESMAN group to fulfil the purposes described in Section 2. 5.  For how long is your personal data stored?

RESMAN will store your personal data as long as it is reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and for the purpose of meeting any legal, accounting, or other reporting requirement or obligation. RESMAN will thereby retain your personal data until you choose to unsubscribe to the newsletter, until your request for information has been responded to, until we have we have responded to the feedback you have provided, or until our contractual relationship has ended.

We will store your personal data in our CRM-system for a period of two years.
